Trough often shared, they're never the same
It's like I'm staring at a canvas, sharing in its tension
My heart stretched out so tight, so tight

Golden light reflects off morning waves
As I paddle out, I feel a song of freedom
Do these skies tell a story, a silent voice, so often loud
I hold these virtues tightly, so tightly

Day after day

Can your hear the oceans cry
Or the sonnet of each sunset to the day
Sing, sing a new song
Faith, hope and life, it won't be long
Till everything is so uch lighter, so much brighter
